Glucosamine Hydrochloride - joint pain

Benefits of Pain Meds/Supplements

Works for:
This formulation is for those with high blood pressure, vegetarians.

Product Resources

There are many formulations of Glucosamine for joint pain. And there are two main formulations of Glucosamine. One is Glucosamine Sulfate which is not recommended for those with high blood pressure. However, the Glucosamine Hydrochloride is safer for those with high blood pressure since it is free of sodium.

The 'Now' brand supplements are bioavailable nutrients.

The NOW brand of vitamins are highly recommended and well researched products. This particular product was a 2008 Vity award winner .Glucosamine Hydrochloride (HCl) is considered to be as stable and as effective as other glucosamine compounds and the brand contains the highest grade glucosamine at a significantly lower cost than glucosamine sulfate.

Suggested Usage: As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules 1 to 2 times daily with meals or on an empty stomach. Consider taking this product in combination with NOW® Chondroitin, Celadrin® and D-FlameT.

Other Ingredients: Gelatin (capsule), Stearic Acid (vegetable source) and Magnesium Stearate (vegetable source). Contains shellfish (crab, shrimp, lobster, crayfish) derivative.

Contains no: sugar, salt, starch, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg or preservatives.

Caution: Do Not Eat Freshness Packet. Keep in Bottle.

Warning: Persons with a known allergy to shellfish should not use this product.

Disclaimers: *These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Store in a cool, dry place. Please Recycle.

NOW Foods developed the glucosamine test method chosen as the official AOACI Industry standard method.

However, since Glucosamine Hydrochloride does not come with the chondroitin in the formulation, it is recommended that you take a chodroitin supplement. The NOW Chondroitin, Celadrin and D-FlameT is a good one but can be difficult to find.

Vegetarian but not Vegan.

Glucosamine is an amino sugar derived from the chitin of shellfish and utilized by the body to support healthy joint structures. This formulation is not made using any bovine by products so many vegetarians will find this a good alternative.

There is another formulation for vegans called Vegetarian Glucosamine & MSM. That formula is made from a vegetarian source of glucosamine.

Contraindications

Warning: Persons with a known allergy to shellfish should not use this product. Those with a shellfish allergy should use this product instead Vegetarian Glucosamine & MSM.

Love the NOW brand supplements

I have used many NOW brand products and find them to be very high quality supplements that work very well. I've used the Glucosamine, the Bromelain and the D-Mannose and all were very effective. So when they say they manufacture to high standards, I believe it.
