Lots of cold contact with this ice pack

This is a very well engineered ice pack that surrounds the area with cold and as such reduces pain considerably. I feel that it works much better than pain narcotics.

The only drawback is that this cannot always be shared by family members of different sizes such as this one for the knee. But probably worth having your own if you suffer from knee swelling.

KT Tape Pro really delivers

I found this synthetic KT Tape Pro to be way ahead of all the other types of kinesiology tape. Shower, hot tub, sweat could not remove it. Very effective in pain relief and was great in helping prevent injury. Our testers loved it.

The Achilles sufferer was so thrilled with finding something that provided relief. It's important to note that you still have to rest an injury and find shoes that work with your biomechanics.

Hot Chillys are hands down the best

I have long legs and these were the first long underwear that were comfortable under ski wear. I wear a all in one ski suit with these and an under armour top and I am toasty in the coldest of weather. Once I got these, I never went back to anything else.

So far, so good with Gel Kayano 18

The cushioning and arch support in addition to the lighter weight feels pretty good right out of the box. Have not tested quite long enough to offer a final verdict but no blisters or hurting body parts. I have the 17s and I think I really do like the 18s better.

Love the new ColdGear by Under Armour

I have had Under Armour ColdGear since it came out. But this newly engineered batch with the colors and the longer arms and body is wonderful. I run in the cold and this keeps the sweat wicked away. Before, the fabric would stink up pretty fast. They have resolved that one. I also like the turtleneck and the crew neck. They have a lot of sizes to fit a number of body types so the 3X guy can find an undershirt. I got the basic colors and purple. I have all the cool colors on my holiday list as now I want to replace the shirts I've had for four years as these new ones are longer in the arms and body.

CW-X Stabilyx Tights Editor Review

These tights really are top quality. I will say the price inspired me to research them the first time around. But they really do make a difference in terms of longevity and soreness after a long run. Other runners expressed the same. There were a few who commented that they could not get used to them.

I find that I suffer fewer injuries and suffer fewer pulled muscles which makes it worth the money for me personally. I don't like being sidelined and things that prevent injury and doctor's visits makes it worth it.

Running sleeves

These are surprisingly comfortable. My personal preference is the Pearl Izumi for warding off sun which is in another listing and the CW-X would be a second for me. I am very long armed so the zensahs don't do it for me but my shorter running girlfriend loves them. Most of those we spoke with really liked the CW-X brand as well.

Shooting sleeves not a fashion statement

I have to admit, when I first saw these I thought "fashion statement". But like a lot of compression garments, they do provide help for fatigue in particular.

I know the cw-x shorts and tights minimize fatigue for me and energize in addition to less soreness later.

These sleeves follow that same concept. Accuracy is still up to the individual shooter but energizing the arm helps in terms of power particularly late in the game when players are more likely to be tired. Compression shorts should help leg fatigue as well since a player's shot has a great deal to do with leg fatigue as well.

All in all, shooting sleeves are surprisingly helpful to shooters.

Good book on superfoods

This is a well organized and informative book although definitely enthusiastic in nature. Good information with solid sources.

We did not love the product pushes and it is definitely geared to raw food as a lifestyle. But even if you don't want that lifestyle, there are a lot of good takeaways to improving your diet and seeing more energy and better athletic performance as a result.

It is available in many price points and it is worth reading.

Bargain Kinesiology Tape

This brand of kinesiology tape is a value particularly compared with a $20 roll of RockTape. You'd have to be pretty sold on the Rock brand to justify an $11 or $12 leap per roll in cost. Compared with KT tape, the difference is marginal, especially considering KT Tape is precut and worth the extra given the convenience.

PerformTex Tape is considered effective as experienced by the owner and buyers from theratape.com. Joanne was impressed by the quality of the tape. Early tests show it has good adhesive qualities during athletic events. The downside is that it is not presently available in as many colors and applications and is not available at as many outlets. Personally, I buy the large rolls to save money and have it on hand. We want to thank Theratape.com's help in offering legitimate feedback for this kinesiology tape brand.
