Icing is easier with a pack that conformsDo keep in mind that this works better for a man's foot or larger women's foot. It is effective in its delivery of cold and heat therapy to a swollen ankle. The long velcro straps allow it to be individualize which is an advantage. Was this review helpful to you? 00 Running Shoes

Last updated: May 02, 2010 Pricy but worth itIf you need a stability shoe and are prone to over pronation or shin splints, this is the shoe many runners will point to. I do wince when I pay for them but am always glad I took the plunge. They last about 5 months but I can't rate them tops for durability. I do start to feel pain in my Achilles which means I need to get new shoes. As soon as I get new ones, all knee or Achilles pain goes away. So these are definitely keeping me in the game. Love the Asics Gel Kayano 15 Running ShoesI love these shoes. Pain I was having evaporated when I ran with them on. They are great for overpronators with high arches since they provide great arch support. My feet don't hurt and I avoid reoccurrance of plantar fasciitis. They are pricey but worth it since I was spending $$ on all sorts of aids to run with other shoes in testing those for this website. I had developed an inflamed bursa which went away once I used these shoes and a strip of kinesio tape. Was this review helpful to you? 20 Ankle Braces, Orthotics

Still the best ankle braceI love the speed lacer. Although I've used the regular lace up one as well. The price is more of a bargain now than it used to be, too. But it really does keep your ankle from going over. I've had mine start to go over and it just pops right back up. That has happened more than once. It's not comfortable right at first but you really do get used to it. Even in the summer. Was this review helpful to you? 10 Training Books, DVDs

This is a must read for parents of female athletesThis is the most complete guide I've run into. There are so many that address men's injury issues that simply ignore those of the female athlete. Others focus more on eating disorders and still others tell stores but don't give any guidance on prevention or treating injuries or training regimens that are poor. This points that out. It's a very handy reference and one that women who are over 25 are sorry they did not have earlier. It really is a great guide for any female athlete but really a must have for parents of female athletes. It offers good, educated guidance from a female orthopedic surgeon. Kinesio Pro Scissors are sharpThese do make the task easier. I would recommend them if you use a lot of kinesio but particularly if you are a physical therapist or ATC. They will cut all kinds of tape precisely for many years. Was this review helpful to you? 00 Training Books, DVDs

This book and kinesio tape have saved my feetThis is just the best and most definitive guide to footcare I've ever read. And it's an easy read. I've personally had foot issues that have blossomed into shin ankle problems but with the help of this guide, some kinesio tape, coach tape and orthotics, I can participate in running still. Thank goodness because my stress level would be through the roof otherwise. Was this review helpful to you? 00 Training Books, DVDs

Walking on a cloudI honestly don't know about the durability yet. But so far this shoe is a dream. So worth the price which is still right under $100. I love a cushiony shoe and this one has stability, too. Was this review helpful to you? 90 Tights, Shorts, Bottoms

Socks that prevent blistersThe only thing I heard that was not positive was that these would shrink. So order up. But everyone praised these as being THE socks for sports and prevention of blisters which are so annoying. Was this review helpful to you? 20
