Imak Knee Strap

The Imak Knee strap, designed by an orthopedic surgeon, provides focused mild massaging compression to reduce knee pain. That’s the part right under the knee cap that aches and hurts.

It is intended to be worn while participating in sports or running. It can also be worn in everyday activities.

The patent pending Knee Strap from Imak has a massaging ergoBeads Pressure Pad which is designed to conform to your knee anatomically to provide tageted pressure and maximum support.

One of the features that sets it apart is the “dual locking system” which is basically two straps, instead of the one most knee straps have, offering flexible tension and a customized fit. Several of the athletes I interviewed cited this as a positive although others stated that the one they had with one Velcro strap did the trip for them.

Get the Imak Knee Strap from Amazon. Priced at about $12 for one, some packages contain 2 for $20+.

Relieves knee pain, people like the fit

Most who had used this said it was their favorite. It was really only those who'd used another brand and had not tried this that did not choose it. A number of runners were already happy with the knee strap they had.

The motivation for someone to go from one strap to this one was a complaint regarding fit. It is not intended for maximum patella shifting support but provides mild to average relief for tracking.
