Voltaren Gel for Arthritis and Bursitis

We've been looking into reviewing a prescription used for the relief of arthritis and bursitis pain for our older athletes.

So far results from Volatren Gel are very promising for breaking the pain cycle and penetrating to the joint to allow for more freedom of movement.

Voltaren Gel is diclofenac sodium and used to treat joint pain in the:

  • Hands
  • Wrists
  • Elbows
  • Knees
  • Ankles and feet

Treats osteoarthritis as well as bursitis and can be used 4 times per day and our testers have used a knee taping with KT tape while putting the gel on the exposed areas around the tape for maximum relief.

It is a NSAID or non steroidal anti inflammatory drug. When we do the review, we'll post contraindications. If you've ever had a reaction to aspirin related products, do avoid.

As with any prescription or nonprescription, you should discuss potential side effects and contraindications with your physician.
